Greg Anctil

Greg Anctil

Associate Counsel / Kamloops

Greg is practical.

Interested in helping his clients run their businesses efficiently, Greg knows that litigation is an expensive way to solve most employment issues. Focused on finding a better, more practical solution, Greg helps his clients identify workplace issues before they become workplace problems,  via proper planning and risk management strategies.

Practicing in labour relations and employment law exclusively for more than 25 years, Greg acts for private sector employers in a broad range of labour relations matters, particularly collective bargaining, collective agreement interpretation and administration, and labour arbitrations. He advises employers on hiring, employment contracts and policies, and discipline and dismissal issues and regularly represents employers in wrongful dismissal and employment related litigation.

No stranger to the courtroom, Greg has the experience needed for a successful conclusion. Greg has represented employers before the BC Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, as well as various administrative tribunals, including the BC and Federal Labour Relations Boards, Employment Standards Tribunal, Human Rights Tribunal, and the Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal.

Outside of the office, Greg enjoys developing his culinary skills when he is not ferrying his kids to their soccer games or climbing events.
