Patience is Lucas’s superpower. When faced with complex problems, he takes the time to dig into the details, uncover the real issues, and deliver thoughtful solutions. His broad life experience before law gives him a grounded, approachable perspective that puts clients at ease.
Lucas practices in local government law and litigation, areas where competing interests, intricate regulations, and tight timelines often intersect. Helping clients navigate that complexity is one of the aspects of practice he finds most rewarding. A judicial clerkship with the Supreme Court further sharpened the research, analytical, and problem-solving skills he now brings to our Local Government Practice Group.
Outside the office, music remains a constant in Lucas’s life. He is an active trombonist with the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra and enjoys contributing to the local arts community. Born and raised in Kamloops, Lucas is just as likely to be discussing hockey or football as classical music. He looks forward to building a life with his fiancée centered on travel, lifelong learning, and the occasional deep dive into a Wikipedia rabbit hole.
