Fulton is pleased to welcome Heather Lloyd to Partnership, effective January 1, 2026.*
Heather’s journey to family law began long before she stepped into a courtroom. After earning her Bachelor of Social Work from Thompson Rivers University in 2011, she spent several years working as a Child Protection Social Worker, supporting families through some of life’s most difficult moments. That experience shaped her perspective and deepened her commitment to helping people navigate complex challenges with compassion and clarity. Driven to make an even greater impact, Heather completed her Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University in 2018 and joined our firm as an articled student in 2019. She was called to the bar later that year.
Perceptive and determined to change the world for the better, Heather is naturally compassionate yet possesses the thick skin required to be a reliable, steadying force during her clients’ most challenging circumstances. As a family lawyer, Heather’s background gives her unique insight into the most difficult relational situations, where she works to efficiently resolve her clients’ issues. When advocacy is needed, Heather is known for her ability to overcome obstacles with confidence and clarity.
Around our office, Heather is respected for her steady presence, collaborative spirit, and unwavering determination. A creative at heart, she enjoys art, music, and continuous learning. When she’s not working with clients, you can often find her on a soccer field, as a player or referee, out exploring Kamloops with her dog, or spending time with her large local family.
Congratulations, Heather, from all of us at Fulton!
