We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Lawyer to join our Solicitor department. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial desire, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) is required.
- Be a member of good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Three to five years of commercial corporate experience.
- Demonstrated excellent advocacy, conflict resolution, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong research and writing skills as well as a demonstrated ability to navigate complex issues.
- Have proven effective client and practice management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively with lawyers and staff
- Desire to become engaged in the community for personal and professional development purposes, and to develop your own referral network to generate new clients and new revenue sources.
