PROFILE

Gemma Whitehead is an associate in the Realization & Insolvency Group of the firm’s Vancouver office. Gemma practises in the areas of litigation, security enforcement, and restructuring and insolvency in the banking, finance and insurance industries. Gemma acts for banks, trust companies, and private lenders in debt enforcement, foreclosure, and receivership matters. She is a frequent contributor to scholarly publications in the field of insolvency law. She has contributed chapters to a variety of legal texts annually since 2011 including the Annual Review of Law & Practice, Lexis Practice Advisor, and the Creditors’ Remedies Annotated Guide.

Gemma has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia including the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
